Tercet has had to go on the DL so here is your abbreviated minor league update. Buffalo were rained out mid-way, and Lansing are on their all-star break so there were three teams in action. Vancouver and Dunedin lost easily so New Hampshire drew all the attention. Daniel Norris made his first AA start and mostly it was good. He did start a beanball war that led to a multitude of ejections. The Bluefield Blue Jays start play tonight.

Buffalo at Columbus

This game was suspended in the fourth inning due to rain, it will be completed today. Esmil Rogers started and was hit around a bit.

Altoona 5 New Hampshire 6

Daniel Norris made his first AA start and it was good and bad. Altoona hit two home runs off him but he registered 9 K's in 5.2 innings. It was a good building block. Norris left the game after hitting Stetson Allie who had homered off him earlier and that started a beanball war. There were five players from New Hampshire ejected, plus the manager, but the Fisher Cats rallied for the win. Andy Burns homered, Kenny Wilson had two hits and Jon Berti drove in three runs.

Dunedin 2 Brevard County 5

Dunedin haven't won since they clinched the first half title. Taylor Cole was not his usual dominant self. This game marks the end of the first half of the season.

Lansing - All star break

Spokane 5 Vancouver 2

Another loss for the bullpen. Alberto Tirado walked too many (5) but hung in there to allow just one run. Franklin Barreto went 0-4 with 3 K's. Roemon Fields had two hits.
