Roberto Osuna's Forgetful Night

Roberto Osuna had his worst career outing, could another visit to the doctor be coming soon?  Sean Nolin had another fantastic start for New Hampshire, with offensive help from Ryan Schimpf.  Dunedin lost in extra innings, despite a strong outing from Aaron Sanchez. 

Buffalo 1 – Rochester 11

Buffalo’s pitching had a night to forget, as they gave up 15 hits and 11 runs with appearances from Claudio Vargas, Bobby Korecky, and Buddy Carlyle

Kevin Pillar had his 3rd home run in his 11th game since being promoted from New Hampshire.

 

New Hampshire 6 – New Britian 1

Sean Nolin had another fantastic start in which he lasted 6.2 innings scoreless innings giving up 5 hits, with 2 walks and 7 strikeouts.

Brad Glenn was 2-4, with 2 doubles, and 2 runs.  Ryan Schimpf was 3-3 with a double, homerun, and one run scored.

 

Dunedin 3- Clearwater 4 (12 Innings)

Aaron Sanchez had great outing for Dunedin, as went 4 innings of 3 hit ball, giving up one run, with 2 walks, and 4 strikeouts.  Kyle Drabek had a shaky outing in the 6th as he gave up 3 hits, including a home run, which amounted to 3 earned runs.

Dunedin only managed 8 hits over 12 innings which amounted to 3 runs.  Matt Newman lead the offensive attack with 2 hits that Dunedin lost in extra innings.

 

Lansing 5 – Lake County 10

Roberto Osuna continued to not pitch well, pondering the question if his recent performances are related to his elbow injury.  Tonight he had his worst career outing in the minor leagues, as he lasted 1.2 innings giving up 10 hits, and 7 earned runs.

Santiago Nessy hit his first home run of the year,  and Dalton Pompey was 3-3, with 2 walks, 2 runs scored and his 26th stolen base of the year.

 

Vancouver 7 – Everett 3

Jordan Leyland continued to be the Vancouver’s best hitter, as he was 2-3 with a double, 2 runs scored, and 2 walks.  Chaz Frank, Dickie Thon, Justin Atkinson and Brenden Kalfus each had two hits as well.

Colton Turner had a quality start in which he lasted 6.2 innings, giving up 4 hits, 3 runs, with 3 walks, and 4 strikeouts.

Bluefield – Princeton (Rained Out)

 

GCL Blue Jays 1 – GCL Yankees 4

Sergio Santos had a clean inning in a rehab start, and Mattew Smoral followed Sergio with two innings pitched giving up 3 hits, one earned run, with one strikeout.

Franklie Barreto was 1-3 with a walk, and Lloyd Moseby’s son Lydell Mosebey was 0-2 in his milb debut since recently being signed by the Jays.

 

DSL Orioles2 – DSL Blue Jays 7

Alberto Guzman started lasting 5 innings of 2 hit ball, giving up one earned run, with 2 walks, and 8 strikeouts.  Miguel Burgos went 3 innings, giving up 3 earned runs, and Denis Diaz pitched a scoreless 9th inning.

The DSL Blue Jays managed only 3 hits and 4 walks, which amounted to 7 runs.  Deiferson Barreto and Juan Fuente each scored two runs.
