Thad Weber pitched seven no-hit innings and Buffalo went on to one hit Pawtucket. It was bad news everywhere else. Sean Nolin was hit by a batted ball in the first inning and the relievers were hit all over the park. Lansing had only two hits and lost. Saturday was the FSL all-star game. Many D Jays took part. Vancouver ouhit Tri-City 10-4 but lost.
Buffalo 2 Pawtucket 1
Thad Weber was outstanding, he pitched seven hitless innings, with one walk and 8 strikeouts. Buddy Carlyle followed Weber to preserve the no-hitter but he gave up a home run, Pawtucket's only hit.
Eugenio Velez scored both runs, one a solo home run and other on a throwing error as Velez stole third base. Mike McCoy had three hits.
Erie 16 New Hampshire 2
The third hitter of the game hit a line drive off Sean Nolin and Nolin had to be removed from the game. Matt Wright replaced Nolin and promptly gave up an RBI double and a two run home run. Wright went three more innings and gave up ten more runs, 13 in total. Erie ended the game with 24 hits.

Bowling Green 5 Lansing 1

Vancouver 3 Tri-City 4
Vancouver scored twice in the first inning, a double from Jason Leblebijian was the big hit. Kyle Anderson started for the Canadians and he was perfect through four innings. But in the fifth a lead-off walk and a couple of singles let Tri-City tie the game. Justin James took over for the sixth and he too walked the lead off hitter. A couple of hits later and Vancouver were down 4-2.
Vancouver had lots of early chances to score. The first two hitters reached in the second but were left on base. The Canadians loaded the bases with no outs in the third but couldn't score. They had a lead off single in the fourth, but nothing. The third run was a home run by Leblebijian who had three hits. Jordan Leyland also had three hits.
