The good Chad Jenkins made a rare appearance in New Hampshire. The bullpens struggled in both Las Vegas and Vancouver, which lead to late-game meltdowns totalling 16 runs in four innings.

Salt Lake 13 Las Vegas 6

The Angels affiliate stormed back late in the game to score eight runs in the final two frames to steal the game. Veteran hurler Tim Redding's nightmare season continued as he allowed seven of those late-game runs. Fellow relievers Clint Everts and Jerry Gil were also torched. Starter Scott Richmond allowed three home runs, and a total of five runs in 6.0 innings. At the late, Eric Thames increased his batting average to .335 with three hits, including a solo homer. Mike McCoy had two hits, as did Mark Sobolewski. The latter player also stole home. Moises Sierra was 0-for-3 with two walks and a K.
