The 51s dropped an extra innings affair on Saturday. Mark Sobolewski celebrated his promotion to AAA with a 2-for-5, two double effort in a losing cause. Eric Thames and David Cooper each had a pair of hits, including a double for Thames. Adeiny Hechavarria took an o-for-5 but walked.
Nate Robertson started and didn't last long at all going one inning plus and allowing three runs on four hits. Newly acquired David Carpenter went 1.2 frames allowing a single, walk, and struck out three. He also got tagged with a blown save.
Portland 9 New Hampshire 1
Oof. Nothing worth talking about here. Six hits for the Fisher Cats. Two from Kevin Howard.
Yohan Pino started and went five allowing six runs on nine hits. And that's that.
St. Lucie 6 Dunedin 2 (SUSPENDED)

Lansing 5 Wisconsin 3
Gustavo Pierre was all over the boxscore in this one. Pierre went 1-for-3 with a double and 3 RBI, a walk, a strikeout, a stolen base, and an error. Aaron Munoz had two hits.
Anthony DeSclafani picked up the win going six innings allowing three runs (two earned) on eight hits. He didn't walk or strikeout anybody.
Spokane 8 Vancouver 6
Nicholas Baligod led the way in this one going 2-for-5 with a triple and three RBI. Kellen Sweeney was 1-for-3 with two walks.
Javier Avendano started and pitched well going five innings and allowing three runs (one earned) on five hits while walking two and striking out five.
Princeton 0 Bluefield 2
Tucker Jensen went six (of seven) innings, allowing just a hit and a walk against five strikeouts, for the win.
Jacob Anderson was 2-for-2 with his first homer.

Not much offense in this one either. Seth Conner and Santiago Nessy each had a double while Art Charles tripled.
Deivy Estrada started and went four allowing three runs on five hits while striking out one.
