Las Vegas and Dunedin won, but the other teams on the farm lost or had their games postponed.

Fresno 5 @ Las Vegas 11Boxscore

Las Vegas won a 29-hit slugfest behind the offence of Travis Snider, who showed what he thought of Anthony Gose getting the call ahead of him, and Mike McCoy, who tried to stake a claim to a roster spot if Lawrie is placed on the DL. Snider went 4-for-5 with three runs scored. He hit two homers and drove in six. McCoy had three hits, two of which were doubles, and a pair of runs scored. David Cooper also had a single and two doubles and Danny Perales also had a three-hit game. Eric Thames had a pair of doubles. Shawn Hill gave up five runs over 5 innings and retired 10 of 12 batters on balls in play on groundouts. No players for the 51’s were injured.

New Hampshire 0 @ New Britain 8 (6 innings)Boxscore

Mike McDade and Kevin Howard each had one of New Hampshire’s two hits. Deck McGuire gave up all eight runs, although four were unearned on a pair of fielding errors and a passed ball. He walked four and didn’t strike out a batter. No players for the Fisher Cats were injured.

Dunedin 4 @ Fort Myers 1Boxscore

Egan Smith threw 6 shutout innings, walking a pair and striking out six. Dayton Martze surrendered a run over 2 innings and Alan Farina picked up the save. The heart of the order – Kevin Pillar, Ryan Schimpf and Kevin Ahrens – each had two hits. Marcus Knecht hit a solo homer. Jon Berti and Koby Clemens were the only D-Jays held hitless and each drew a walk. No players for the Dunedin Blue Jays were injured.

Bobby Brosnahan gave up three runs over 5.1 innings. He allowed six hits and walked one batter. Jonathan Lucas retired two batters and then Marcus Stroman threw 2 one-hit innings of scoreless relief with three strikeouts. Balbino Fuenmayor and Dan Klein each went 2-for-4. Matt Newman and Kellen Sweeney each added singles and Ian Parmley drew two walks. No players for the Canadians were injured.

Daniel Norris gave up five runs over 4 innings on seven hits and a walk. Julio Carmona took the loss by allowing the sixth run in his 3 innings of relief. Art Charles and Matt Dean each had a single and a triple. Charles drew a walk and Dean drove in a pair. No players for Bluefield were injured.
