A quiet night on the farm with some late inning dramatics from out west, but for the good this (damn Mariners.)

Las Vegas 7 at Nashville 2

Chad Gaudin's second start back in the Jays organization went better than his first, as he tossed a scoreless 5 innings, allowing 4 hits and striking out 2. Adeiny Hechavarria was the star in this one though, going 3 for 5 with a double and 2 RBI, while the lower part of the order did the rest of the damage, as Ricardo Nanita, Chris Woodward, Manny Mayorson and Brian Jeroloman each had 2 knocks.

New Hampshire - Scheduled Day Off

Dunedin - Scheduled Day Off

Fort Wayne 6 at Lansing 5

The Lugnuts made 3 crucial errors in this one leading to 6 unearned runs, and that was the ballgame and the series - they got swept by the TinCaps. Sean Nolin started and other than giving up an error and a couple of two-out base hits he was sharp; he pitched 5 innings allowing 5 hits, 3 runs (all unearned), 2 BB and 8 K. Brandon Berl gave up another 3 unearned runs on a pair of errors. Jake Marisnick, Eli Boike, KC Hobson and Lance Durham all had 2 hits with the later two doubling, while Marisnick stole his 32nd base (32/40, 80%) and Jack Murphy walked thrice.

Salem-Keizer 6 at Vancouver 7

This was a wild one folks, as the Canadians scored two in the 8th, one in the 9th and one in the 11th to win it. Andrew Burns (3/6, 2B, 3 RBI) had the key double in the 8th and single in the 11th, while Kevin Patterson (2/5, HR, 2 RBI) had the game-tying homer in the 9th. Jonathan Jones (3/6, R), Jonathon Berti (2/4, 2 R), Shane Opitz (2/5, BB, 2 R, RBI), and Matt Newman (2/2) also had good outings. Zach Breault continued to struggle, allowing 5 earned runs in 4 innings, while the pen walked some guys but gave up only 2 hits and 1 unearned run.

Bluefield - Scheduled Day Off

GCL Phillies 6 at GCL Jays 9

Adonis Cardona went 3 innings and allowed 3 hits and 2 walks, leading to 1 earned run to go with his 2 K's. Eric Arce had 3 hits and 3 RBI while Santiago Nessy and Ronald Melendez each had 2 knocks.

DSL Jays 2 at DSL Tigers 6

The DSL Jays had 3 hits and some pitchers you've never heard of got lit up.

3 Stars!

Third Star! Adeiny Hechavarria - 3/5, 2B, 2 RBI
Second Star! Sean Nolin - 5 IP, 5 H, 3 R (0 ER), 2 BB, 8 K
First Star! Andrew Burns - 3/6, 2B, 3 RBI including game winner
