Chad Jenkins was effectively wild on Thursday pitching 6.2 shutout innings and striking out 8 against five hits and four walks. He induced eight ground ball outs against just two in the air.
The offense was fairly stagnant. Travis D'Arnaud went 1-for-3 with a walk and an RBI while Kevin Howard had three hits.
Bradley Glenn did much of the damage in this one going 3-for-4 with his 23rd homer. Other than that, it was pretty spread out. Ryan Goins did have two hits. So there was that.
Andrew Liebel started and his line was pretty much 4. He lasted 4.2 innings and allowed four runs on four hits against four strikeouts. He also surrendered four hits.....times two.
Asher Wojciechowski had one of his better starts going 5.2 and allowing three runs (two earned) on eight hits without walking anyone. He struck out three.
Kevin Ahrens had a nice night going 2-for-2 with two walks and two RBI. Brian Van Kirk homered as part of a 2-for-3 night.
Marcus Knecht smacked his 13th homer of the year while KC Hobson collected a pair of hits. Jake Marisnick was 0-for-4.
Tyler Powell had his best start since being converted to the rotation by allowing a run on four hits in five innings.
Jonathan Jones paced the Canadians by going 3-for-5 with the team's only RBI. Shane Optiz was 2-for-4.
Jesse Hernandez started and went six allowing all three runs on six hits and a walk against two strikeouts.
Kevin Pillar had the best night at the plate going 3-for-3 with a walk and a run scored. Chris Hawkins was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI.
Myles Jaye and Aaron Sanchez tandemed it up to smother Princeton. Jaye went five and allowed a run on four hits with no walks and three punchouts while Sanchez went the final four and allowed a run on five hits. He didn't walk anybody and struck out one.
The teams finished Wednesday's suspended affair before the scheduled game Thursday. Eric Arce and Seth Conner each had a pair of hits including a double.
Joe Musgrove went three innings and continued his recent resurgence by allowing just one hit and striking out three

Seth Conner picked up three more hits to give him five on the day while Jorge Vega-Rosado went 2-for-3 with an RBI to up his OPS to .849.
Randal Thompson started and went four, allowing a run on four hits with a walk and three strikeouts.
Emilio Guerrero was 3-for-5 with an RBI while Jonathan Pumarol one upped him with a second ribbie. Tonguar Perez managed a double and a triple.
Jairo Labourt went 3.1 innings and allowed five runs (two earned) on seven hits without walking anyone and striking out one. He has allowed sixteen runs on the year, with only 7 earned.
