Batting - Travis Snider (4/5) responded to his latest demotion in the best way he knew how by driving in four runs. Darin Mastroianni (4/5) also responded to Snider's demotion in the best way he knew how by coming up a home run short of the cycle. Mike McCoy (2/3) responded to Snider's demotion in the best way he knew how with his 46th double, two walks and two RBI. Jayson Nix (2/5) responded to Snider's demotion in the best way he knew how with a double and three RBI. Former Ottawa Lynx hurler Winston Abreu gave up a two-run bomb among his three hits but struck out a batter over one inning. Lefty Rommie Lewis finished up with two perfect innings and struck out one.
Defence - The 51s 'D' responded to Snider's demotion in the best way they knew how by committing no errors.
