Nine game, four wins.

Las Vegas 13    Tucson 8

Kyle Drabek took a bit of a step back on Thursday with a three inning, six run (five earned) performance. The upshot of it is he only walked one. I guess.

The offense, though, well that was humming. Adam Loewen had a rather large evening with a 3-for-6 performance that included a homer and four RBI. Danny Perales smacked his first dinger of the year, a Grand Slam.

New Hampshire 5    Binghamton 3 (Game One)

Despite the five runs, not a ton happened in this one. Travis D'Arnaud went 2-for-4 while Anthony Gose singled, walked and stole his 42nd base. Justin Jackson had the only extra base hit of the game, a double.

Chad Jenkins started and was quite effective going six innings and allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits and a walk against four strikeouts.

New Hampshire 0    Binghamton 1 (Game Two)

Five hits, all singles. Moises Sierra had one. Next.

Yohan Pino made the start here and went four striking out six before giving way to Casey Janssen who turned the side away in order with a strikeout in his inning.

Bradenton 6    Dunedin 2

Asher Wojciechowski started this one and was brilliant through three before the wheels loosened a bit. Woj finished with 5.2 innings pitched and allowed two runs on four hits and three walks while striking out four. He also plunked a batter.

A 21 year-old got his first taste of Hi-A this season and went 1-for-3 with an RBI and strikeout. Not a bad debut by Brett Lawrie. Kevin Nolan had two hits while Ryan Schimpf doubled.

Lansing 3    Kane County 1

Nice start by Sean Nolin who went six shutout frames allowing three hits and a walk against seven punchouts.

Jake Marisnick did it all in this one going 3-for-4 with a HR and two runs scored. Michael Crouse had a hit and stole his 27th base.

Boise 1    Vancouver 5

Randy Schwartz is 25 and playing in Lo-A so he's not much of a prospect but that didn't stop him from going 3-for-4 with a triple and two HR.

After a quick promotion from Bluefield, David Rollins kept the good times rolling (sorry) with a five inning, one run, six strikeout performance.

Bluefield 4    Bristol 5

Not a ton to get excited about here. Les Williams started and was knocked around allowing four runs (three earned) on seven hits in three innings.

At the plate, Kevin Pillar had three hits while Chris Hawkins contributed a pair including a double.

GCL Blue Jays 5    GCL Pirates 10

A lot of ugly pitching lines in this one so it's probably pretty encouraging that starter Adonys Cardona managed to go 2.1 innings and allowed a run on three hits and two walks against one strikeout.

2011 draftee Jorge Vega-Rosado had three hits including a double while Alexys Rodriguez contributed three of his own.

DSL Blue Jays 3    DSL Cubs 4

Kervin Santiago continued his hot hitting with a 2-for-4 day and his first homer. Ricardo Guillen was the only other Jay with a multi-hit day.

Jairo Labourt kept his ERA at 0.00 through 19 innings with four two-hit frames. Ericdavis Marquez blew away five batters in 2.2 frames to lower his ERA to 0.50.

Three Stars:

3rd Star: Adam Loewen- 3-for-6, HR, 4 RBI

2nd Star: Jake Marisnick- 3-for-4, HR, 2 R

1st Star: Sean Nolin- 6 IP, 3 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 7 K
