The Auburn Doubledays game was postponed because the Connecticut team bus broke down and they were unable to get home to play the game. Dunedin were rained out so both teams will play doubleheaders on Saturday.
New Hampshire played nineteen innings and lost. Las Vegas just had to play nine to lose. Lansing won a close game. Daniel Arcila of the GCL Jays had a double, a triple and a home run, but no single, as the GCL Jays won.
Las Vegas had to face Derek Holland and they got to him for three runs in the third before Holland was pulled. The 51's tallied four runs in that inning highlighted by a three run home run from Danny Perales. Sean Henn threw 115 pitches in 4.2 innings and left with five runs in and the bases loaded. Josh Roenicke came on and two hitters later there were three more runs in and now Henn was charged with eight runs.
Mike Jacobs homered in the fifth and Jarrett Hoffpauir delivered a two run double in the sixth and it was an 8-7 game. In the seventh Brad Emaus walked, stole second and scored on a Perales single to tie the game.
Oklahoma City regained the lead with two runs off Merkin Valdez in the bottom of the seventh. The 51's had something going in the eighth but Clay Rapada came on to strike out Mike Jacobs and Jason Lane.
Hoffpauir and Perales had two hits each.
New Hampshire 3 Altoona 4 - 19 innings
Zach Stewart was a bit shaky after his rest. He pitched 4.2 innings and was charged with three runs on eight hits.
New Hampshire scored three runs in the third inning, Adeiny Hechavarria doubled in one run and Marcus Thames hit his 22nd home run, a two run shot.
Then the game settled down and no runs were scored from the fifth inning until the nineteenth. BJ LaMura, Alan Farina, Trystan Magnuson, Clint Everts and Boomer Potts combined to pitch 12.2 scoreless innings. New Hampshire had two singles to lead off the sixth and thereafter had only three hits in fourteen innings.
In the nineteenth Vince Bongiovanni was taken deep to end the game.
Darin Mastroianni, Shawn Bowman and Eric Thames had two hits each, but that was in 6 to 8 at-bats.

Per the schedule the D-Jays will play doubleheaders on both Saturday and Sunday.
Good starting pitching from Dave Sever keyed the win. Sever went six innings and gave up the one run on three hits.
The Lugnuts got their two runs in the fifth, four walks scored one run and Jake Marisnick singled in the second run. In the bottom of the eighth Dan Barnes loaded the bases with one out but Aaron Loup came on and escaped the jam.
Marisnick and the hot Brad Glenn had two hits each.

The Jays won even though the mini evil-empire outhit the Jays 12 - 11. The difference was three home runs hit by the Jays, solo shots by Bryson Namba and Art Charles, and a three run shot by Daniel Arcila. Arcila also added a double and a triple, missing the single part of the cycle. Arcila is a 20 year old Venezuelan who spent the last three years in the DSL. Namba had two hits and three RBI's. Ronald Melendez also had two hits.
The Jays used four pitchers, Alesone Escalante got the win.
