Baseball's Back. Again!

I've always hated the day off after Opening Day. It's like someone saying, "hey, here's that steak you've been waiting for," and then swiping it away after your first bite.

But have no fear, your steak is back on the table today. As Mick pointed out in the Opening Day thread, sports radio DJ's are apoplectic this morning over the fact that Rich Harden has never defeated the Jays. Couple that with Brian Tallet's seven shutout innings in Arlington last June and this one's clearly in the bag for the visitors.

Elsewhere:

Marco Scutaro's error in the 8th led to the winning run for the Yankees at Fenway. I wouldn't worry about it Marco. The guys over at Sons of Sam Horn are usually pretty forgiving.
The Mike Gonzalez Era got off to a rocky start for the Orioles as the new closer surrendered a two-run single to Carl Crawford in the bottom of the ninth to give Tampa a 4-3 victory.
A perfect season is a mere 160 victories away as the Giants improved to 2-0. And vice versa for the now 0-2 Astros.
