The Fisher Cats scored five runs in the seventh and two more in the eighth to break open a close game. In the seventh the Cats used five hits and two walks to run up their five runs. The two runs in the eighth came via a home run by Brian Dopirak, his sixteenth. Dopirak was 3-5 with three RBI's and his batting average is now over .300. Brian Jeroloman also had three hits.

Dunedin - All Star Break
Several Jays played in the all-star game. Moises Sierra had the best game with three hits in four at-bats. Raul Barron was 1-2, Darin Mastroianni 0-4 with a walk and a caught stealing. Tim Collins pitched an inning giving up a single and a walk while recording two strike-outs.
Lansing scored three runs in the seventh to tie the game at four but Great Lakes scored a run in the seventh and another in the eighth to win. Ryan Koch walked the lead-off hitter in that seventh and a triple from former Jay Anthony Hatch put the Loons ahead. Justin McClanahan hit his ninth home run in that seventh inning. That must of unnerved the pitcher as he walked four of the next six hitters, plus gave up a single to let Lansing tie the game. McClanahan had two hits and Chris Emanuele went 4-5. Jonas Cuotto started and gave up four runs on nine hits in five innings.
