A slow night in the minors with just two teams in action.

Syracuse 2 at Toledo 5

David Purcey started and there was both good and bad in the start.  The bad:  he gave up 5 runs, walked 3, allowed a HR and committed a throwing error.  The good:  only 2 runs were earned, he pitched into the 8th inning, he only threw 99 pitches, gave up just 4 hits (3 to Clete Thomas) and had a 8/4 GB/FB ratio.

Eric Kratz continues to hit well on Mondays, going 3-4 last night with a double.  He's 7-11 in his last three Mondays which I only know because I seem to write about him each week.  More importantly his OPS is up to .925.  Matt Watson was 2-3, with a double and a walk.

New Hampshire - Day off

Fort Myers 5 at Dunedin 2

Kyle Ginley didn't have as much success as he's used to in this one.  He gave up 3 runs in 4.1 innings giving up 7 hits and 1 walk.  He struck out 5 on the night.

The DJays managed just 4 hits on the night, although one was a Brad Emaus HR.  JP Arencibia had the night off.

Lansing - Day off (All Star Break)

Auburn - First game tonight

3 Stars!:
3 - Brad Emaus
2 - David Purcey
1 - Eric Kratz
