John Parrish continues to pitch well and is a fine candidate to start for the Jays if an injury comes up. The affiliates were 1-2 on the night.
Syracuse 5 at Scranton/WB 0
Lefty John Parrish threw a three hitter over 8 shutout innings to lead the Chiefs. He struck out 7 and walked 3 on the night. In 71.1 innings this season Parrish has 79 Ks, 32 BBs, and just 4 HRs allowed for a 2.65 ERA. I'd think that he's the best option should the Jays need a starter.
Eric Kratz had a 2B and HR and is slugging .604 for the Chiefs this year. Lydon, Coats, and Sandoval also had 2 hits on the night.

Daytona 4 at Dunedin 1
Gus Chacin got the start and gave up 4 runs over 4 innings, striking out 1. Reidier Gonzalez came on and pitched the final 5 innings without allowing a run while striking out 2.
Arencibia, Patton, and Gonzalez each had 2 hits. Shoffit had the only XBH with a triple.
Lansing 3 at W Michigan 4
The Nuts managed just 3 hits on the night, but a Matt Liuzza HR put three runs on the board.
Marc Rzepczynski started and gave up 1 run in 6 innings. He struck out 5 and even picked off a runner. On the year he has a 2.08 ERA, has struck out 31 in 34.2 innings and has a 3.93:1 GB/FB ratio. He's certainly in line for a promotion to Dunedin.
Three Stars!:
3 - Marc Rzepczynski
2 - Eric Kratz
1 - John Parrish

As pointed out by Bauxite mendocino, 2nd round pick Kenny Wilson signed as well as 11th round HS pitcher Dustin Antolin from Hawaii. Must be nice being that area scout!
