The Jays have one premium prospect and he continues to hit like one.  He should pick up his 2nd league MVP in as many years.

Syracuse 8 at Buffalo 4

The Chiefs hit a bunch of HRs last night - one each from Lydon, Barker, Corrente, and Hattig. Corrente had 3 hits on the night while Lind and Barker each had 2 hits. Mike MacDonald started and went 6 innings, giving up 4 runs on 9 hits and a walk. He struck out 4.

New Hampshire 1 at Connecticut 3 (game 1, 7 innings)

New Hampshire 1 at Connecticut 2 (game 2, 9 innings)

NH's only run came on a Rob Cosby solo HR. Isenberg gave up all 3 runs in 5 innings.

Game 2 was scoreless until the 9th inning when all of the runs came.  Ryan Patterson led off the 9th on a double and scored on a throwing error on a sac bunt.  Tracey Thorpe came in for the save but promptly gave up a lead off HR, triple and sac fly.

Dunedin - Day Off

Dayton 5 at Lansing 10

Travis Snider continues his hot August with a 3-5 night, including a HR and 2B. Snider now has a comfortable lead for highest league OPS and is the RBI leader despite playing about 15 fewer games this season.  Jaspe also had three hits while Diaz had two. Nate Starner started and gave up 5 runs in 5 innings.

Mahoning Valley 3 at Auburn 2

Marc Rzepczynski had a decent outing, giving up one earned run in 5.2 innings. He struck out 4 and walked 2, and also combined with Arencibia to throw out two baserunners. Manny Rodriguez had two hits for the Doubledays.
