Hey, no one goes undefeated.
And so the Twins and Mets are just enjoying the moment.
While, it's always disappointing when a rally falls short, teams overcome nine run deficits about once a decade. You can't be disappointed by that.
Ted Lilly wins his first start for the Cubs. And Rodrigo Lopez wins his first for the Rockies. Lopez is someone I had my eye on this year - when a guy loses 18 games and then moves into Coors Field, the possibilities do send endless.
And the Giants lost as well, despite a home run from the aging left fielder.
This afternoon it's Gustavo Chacin against Justin Verlander, which matches up a pair of pitchers who didn't have the most memorable springs. And the Tampa rainout against the Yankees means the D Rays are juggling their rotation slightly. Edwin Jackson is being bumped back to pitch against Texas on Tuesday. Ohka, Halladay, and Towers should now match up against Shields, Fossum, and Kazmir. Unless they change their minds again.
And then it's home.
