The affiliates went 0-5 on Monday.

Syracuse 3 @ Buffalo 4

A late rally by the Sky Chiefs fell a run short.  Alex Rios got the start at DH and went 1-3.  Francisco Rosario made his second start since returning and went 3 shutout innings, before the roof fell in on Jason Scobie.  Rob Cosby homered and singled, while Sergio Santos reached base 3 times to lead the offence.

New Hampshire 5 @ Binghamton 9

Bright spots included Adam Lind's 19th homer of the campaign, and Dustin Majewski's 4th.  Low lights begin with Chip Cannon's golden sombrero and Jesse Litsch's 12 hits and 6 earned runs allowed in 5 innings.  The Fishers struck out 19 times in the game.

Dunedin 9 @ Daytona 12

Ouch.  6 errors and 13 hits allowed added up to 12 D-Cub runs.  Eric Arnold hit his 4th homer and Jacob Butler doubled and tripled and drove in 3.  Eric Fowler took the loss and gave up 9 runs in 2 innings, but 5 of the errors were in those innings.  He gets a mulligan.

Lansing 2 @ Dayton 9

Is it bad luck to face Daytona and Dayton on the same day?  Perhaps.  Travis Wood struck out 11 Lugnuts in 6 innings, with Josh Bell's 2 run double the only highlight.  Aaron Wideman returned to the rotation and went 2 innings and was nicked for 3 runs.  Adrian Martin did pitch 3 serviceable innings of relief, if one is hunting for good news.

Pulaski 4 @ Danville 9

Francisco Mateo had a rare rough outing, surrendering 6 runs, 3 earned on 4 hits and 1 walk in 2 innings.  Adam Rogers and Jeffrey Gilmore pitched well in relief.  Jonathan Jaspe doubled and singled in 5 trips, while Travis Snider went 1-3 with a sacrifice fly.  Yohermyn Chavez remains out of the lineup.

3 stars

3rd star- Adam Rogers
2nd star- Jacob Butler
1st star- Rob Cosby
