We've had a lot of debate here over who the Blue Jays should install as their shortstop the rest of the way... it's time to vote.
Following the announcement that John McDonald was the Jays' starting shortstop "for now", Craig B and I have been going back and forth on who the Jays should be pursuing (or not pursuing) over the next couple of weeks as the trade deadline approaches. We've tried to list all of the internal candidates as well as the best external candidates - players outside the organization who can play shortstop and are known or suspected to be on the trading block. When making your decisions, please take into account what you think it would cost to obtain that player. (For that reason, Miguel Tejada was not included as being likely too hard to obtain).
