A few observations:
The season starts one week from today!* Wells is hot right now. It'll be interesting to see if it carries over to the regular season.
* Both Rios and Hinske seem to want to play everyday. Not only do they have high averages, they're crushing the ball. Rios' ISO Slg is over .300. Hinske is not impressed - he's over .500.
* I think it's safe to say that Quiroz isn't going to be claimed on waivers when he's sent to Syracuse. If Zaun can't start the season Phillips will get the call.
