For the second day in a row Auburn laid a big "whuppin" on Oneonta, outscoring the Tigers 33-9 in the series while sweeping their best of three semi-final. Yesterday Jacob Butler had the big numbers, five hits, six RBI's.

Auburn led 11-0 by the middle of the third and cruised to victory. In the first inning, with two outs, Ryan Patterson doubled, Nick Thomas and Joey Metropoulos walked, and Jacob Butler cleared the bases with a double. The red hot Brian Bormaster then singled in Butler with the fourth run. The Doubledays added seven in the third inning starting with a double by Thomas, a triple by Pettway, and a RBI single by Butler. Later in the inning Cory Patton hit a three run home run. Kristian Bell started and allowed three runs in four innings. Randy Dicken followed with two shutout innings. Eberhardt, Martin and Phillips finished out.
Butler went 5-6 with two doubles, three runs scored and six RBI's. Patton was 2-5 with the three run home run. Pettway, Bormaster and Gutierrez also had two hits each.
