John-Ford Griffin hit a two run home run in the sixth to tie the game. Jason Arnold pitched a scoreless seventh but gave up three runs in the bottom of the eighth on two home runs to take the loss. The Chiefs added a pair of runs in the top of the ninth, the second run driven in by Ken Huckaby who reported to Syracuse after clearing waivers.
