Gone But Not Forgotten: John McDonald

According to this press release, the Toronto Blue Jays have traded The Minister of Defense, John McDonald, to the Detroit Tigers for a player to be named later.

McDonald was, by all accounts, a strong defender and a good guy. I hope he sees a bit more playing time in Detroit than he was getting in Toronto, at least more than what he was getting the past few weeks.
