Long before his career as an accused in a murder trial and a rental car company ad actor, O.J. Simpson was an electrifying halfback for U.S.C. and then for the Buffalo Bills. For the Bills, he was "The Juice", and his offensive line was "The Electric Company" because they "turned on the Juice". Upstate New York needs to relocate O.J.'s offensive line to bring some consistent power to the area. The farm affiliates went 3-3 on the evening.

The Fisher Cats blew away the Rock Cats behind 2 homers from Ryan Roberts and 1 from new arrival Curtis Thigpen. Roberts also singled and drew 2 walks among his 6 plate trips. His double A line of .287/.381/.539 in 192 appearances is a mirror of his single A line from earlier in the year. Thigpen drew a walk to accompany his homer. Rob Cosby continued his scorching hitting with 4 singles, while Brad Hassey doubled and singled twice. Zach Jackson started and went 7 solid innings, allowing a run on 5 hits and no walks while striking out 5. Vince Perkins pitched 2 perfect innings, striking out 1, to close out the laugher. Green favourite Alex Romero showed his clutch hitting ability by smacking a solo homer off Jackson to reduce the Rock Cat deficit to 13 runs in the 6th inning. Chip Cannon pinch-hit and singled to drive in a run late in the game.Brevard County 10 Dunedin 3
D-Jay pitchers were spun right round by Manatee hitters, as Mike MacDonald, Brad Mumma and Danny Hill all struggled. Eric Arnold doubled, singled and walked in 4 trips, while Carlo Cota and Robinson Diaz each had 2 hits.

In the regularly scheduled game, it took Chi-Hung Cheng 2 innings to find his control. He walked 3 and gave up a run. From there out, he was great. In the end, he went 6 innings allowing 1 run on 3 hits and 3 walks with 7 strikeouts. The Lugnuts came back with a run in each of the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th innings to salt away the W. David Hicks hit a solo homer, while Jason Armstrong drove in 2 with a double and a sacrifice fly. Joey McLaughlin came in to pitch the 7th for the save and nailed it down well
Earlier in the suspended game, the Lugnuts had broken out with 5 runs in the first with the key hits being a 2 runs single by Joey Reiman and a 2 run homer from Christian Snavely. Starter Russ Savickas didn't have it though, and surrendered 4 runs in each of the second and third innings and that was the ballgame.

The Doubledays exploded for 5 runs in the 4th inning on 5 straight hits to open the inning, followed by an error and a wild pitch, and that was that. Josh Bell homered, doubled and walked in 4 plate trips to lead the offence. Top draft picks Brian Pettway and Ryan Patterson singled in 4 plate trips and doubled in 5 respectively. Starter Randy Dicken struck out 7 in 5 innings of work, allowing 3 earned runs, and 1 unearned run, on 4 hits and 3 walks. Gabriel Alfaro struck out 4 in 3 innings of stellar relief, and Sean Stidfole closed things out in the ninth allowing 1 hit and striking out 1.

The less said about this one, the better. The Baby Twins tonged on P-Jay pitching, save for Benjamin Harrison. Harrison continued his fine pitching with 2 shutout innings, allowing 2 baserunners while striking out 4. On offence, Anthony Hatch reached base 4 times, while Jonathan Jaspe and Jacob Butler reached 3 times each, but the P-Jays could not manage a solitary extra-base hit, perhaps feeling the distant effects of the power problems in upstate New York.
