With the first place team in the Southern division, Altoona, leaving town, the first place team in the Northern division rolled in for a weekend series. Binghamton took the lead off Jamie Vermilyea in the seventh but four runs in the bottom of the ninth, including a walk-off home run, gave the Cats a big win.
Brandon League started and pitched well through five innings. The Mets scored two runs on six hits and two walks. League had seven K's in his five innings. Jamie Vermilyea came on to protect a 3-2 lead and had a three up, three down sixth but speedy Wayne Lydon led off the seventh with a hit. The Mets followed with a walk and a bunt single to load the bases. A ground ball and a single gave the Mets a lead. Dan Jackson relieved Vermilyea and throw the ball away on a pick-off play at second base to advance the runners. The Mets then doubled to make it a four run inning and give them a 6-3 lead.
Still trailing 6-3 heading to the bottom of the ninth John Hattig led off with a home run. Justin Singleton followed with a single and Paul Chiaffredo doubled him home to make it 6-5. Mike Snyder then hit a two run, walk-off, home run. Victor Valencia had a two run home run for the Cats earlier in the game.

Mike MacDonald started game one and allowed three runs in the first inning. But that was it through five, MacDonald had five K's, and conceded four hits and three walks. Eric Rico had his best outing at A ball, pitching two perfect innings to get the win.
Charleston trailed 3-2 heading to their last at-bat. Eric Arnold doubled and, with two out, Robinson Diaz singled into the hole and the SS threw the ball away, game tied and Diaz on second with two out. Three pitches later Diaz took off for third and the catcher threw the ball away, Diaz ran home for the win.
Tom Mastny started game two and was back to his nasty self. Mastny allowed two hits, no walks, and had eight K's through six innings. Christian Snavely homered to give the Alley Cats their first run. In the fifth Joey Reiman doubled and Rodney Medina drove him home with the winning run.

James Pidutti got the win on Thursday, pitching two innings, but took the loss on Friday. In a tied game in the eighth Pidutti walked the lead-off hitter. After an out and a single Pidutti was pulled in favour of Michael Rider. The move backfired as a single, HBP, single, wild pitch, made it a four run lead for Kingsport. Pulaski had only five hits.
