Three wins and two losses cap a rare losing week for the Jays farm teams. Brian Patrick failed to get a star despite having two hits and pitching a scoreless inning.
Syracuse 2 Louisville 5
Jung Bong, who has started for Cincinatti this year, shut the Jays down on four hits in seven innings. Two other ex-major leaguers, Brian Reith and Aaron Myette each pitched a hitless inning in relief for Louisville. Cam Reimers started for Syracuse and was better than his last start, but not good enough.
Louisville got on the board in the bottom of the first, scoring one on two hits and a walk. Anthony Sanders homered in the second to tie the game. Louisville came back with two in the third on two doubles and a couple of ground outs. Glenn Williams got one back for Syracuse in the fourth after a lead off double. Louisville padded their lead with a run in the fourth and another in the sixth, and with the Chiefs bats silent that was the game.
Reimers went six innings, giving up all five runs on nine hits. Russ Adams had two of the Chiefs four hits.

New Hampshire 10 Harrisburg 1
After allowing Harrisburg to beat them up for three straight games New Hampshire finally exploded with eight runs in the last two innings to salvage a win in the series. Todd Ozias pitched five excellent innings, conceding one run on three hits and three walks. After Harrisburg scored in the bottom of the third, the Cats scored two in the top of the fifth. Aaron Hill walked and Dominic Rich connected on a two run home run. That is how the score remained until Mikael Jova also went deep in the eighth. In the ninth, with two out, New Hampshire had an episode of "bats gone wild". Eight batters in a row reached base, six hits and two walks, and seven of them scored. Rich added two more RBI's with a double to give him four on the day.
Brandon League pitched the sixth and seventh, conceding just one walk. John Ogiltree and Dan Jackson each pitched a scoreless inning. The Fisher Cat pitchers held Harrisburg to three hits for the game.
New Hampshire recorded fifteen hits. Danny Solano had three of them. Rich, Tyrell Godwin, Justin Singleton and Jova each had two hits. Hill went 1-4 with a walk, John-Ford Griffin went 1-5.

Hickory 12 Charleston 2
The teams combined for thirty one hits. Charleston had thirteen hits but only scored two runs, both in the ninth inning. Danny Core had one of his forgettable games that appear from time to time. Core pitched five innings and allowed nine hits, seven runs, four of them earned. Matt Dalton and Brad Esaray both contributed to the hit parade. Brian Patrick, the Alley-Cats jack-of-all-trades, came in from right field to pitch a scoreless ninth.
Robinson Diaz, Joey Reiman and Eric Arnold had three hits each. One of Arnold's hits was a consolation home run in the ninth. Brian Patrick went 2-4 in addition to his inning pitched.

Tri-City 3 Auburn 4
This was a tight game and the bottom of the order came through for the Doubledays. Juan Perez started and gave up a run in the top of the second. Auburn got that back in the bottom of the inning. David Corrente singled to drive in Chip Cannon who had walked and move up on a single by Eric Nielsen. Auburn got three in the fourth. Cannon walked, Nielsen singled, and Corrente singled to score one. Nielsen and Corrente both scored when the Tri-City ss made an error trying to complete the 3-6-3 double play. Tri-City got one back in the sixth. Perez pitched six innings with five hits and one walked allowed. Erik Rico pitched two and a third innings allowing only two hits. Scott Roy came on to induce a double play ball to end the game and register his first save, having moved up from Pulaski earlier in the day.
Auburn had eight hits, Nielsen and Corrente had two each. Curtis Thigpen was 1-4 and his batting average drops to .395.

Bristol 5 Pulaski 6 - 10 innings
Jordan Timm started and Bristol tagged him for three runs in the third on a couple of doubles and a home run. After the home run Timm settled down, retiring the last ten in a row. Timm pitched six innings with the three runs allowed on four hits and one walk.
A home run by Yuber Rodriguez put Pulaski on the board in the fifth. Bristol got that run back in the top of the eighth but Pulaski answered right away. John Chappell hit a solo home run. A HBP and two singles loaded the bases for Tim Land who cleared tham with a double to give Pulaski a 5-4 lead.
Daryl Harang came on for the save but allowed a HBP and a walk with one out. Aaron Tressler allowed a single that tied the game but then induced a double play to send the game to extras.
In the bottom of the tenth Anthony Garibaldi reached on a bunt single. Rodriguez doubled to bring Garibaldi home with the winning run.
Rodriguez was 3-6 with the double and home run. He also threw a runner out at home. Mike Macaluso also had three hits.
