It was a tough night for Jay starting pitchers from the top of the system to Pulaski. The farm affiliates went 2-4, with double digit run-scoring from Dunedin and Charleston the keys to the victories.

Syracuse 3 Louisville 4

The Bats scored a run in the bottom of the ninth off a wild Adam Peterson to defeat the Sky Chiefs. Peterson walked the leadoff hitter on 4 pitches, threw wildly to first on a bunt attempt, and then threw two balls in the dirt, one of which Guillermo Quiroz saved and threw out the lead runner on and then another went for a wild pitch. He then surrendered the game-winning hit. Russ Adams doubled, singled and walked in 4 plate appearances. Glenn Williams reached base 3 times and Gabe Gross walked twice. Marvin Benard returned to the lineup and played right field. He stroked a run-scoring double to give Syracuse an early 3-1 lead. Sean Douglass started and went 6 innings, allowing 3 earned runs on 5 hits and 2 walks with 3 strikeouts.
