When you need to feel that you're good enough,
All you pretty people who've been taken over.
Had better start looking for your own answers.
If you didn't enjoy last night, you may be missing a soul. A walk off homerun victory and a ton of well-deserved exposure for Aaron and his Cheer Clubbers. What could possibly be better than that?
- The short story: Jays win 10-8. Delgado walk-off homerun. Gomez goes 4-for-6. Delgado and Phelps 3 RBIs each. The long stories: Spencer Fordin's "Delgado's homer powers Blue Jays", "Mariners tripped up by Jays", Mike Rutsey's "Carlos seals it: Sheds goat horns with homer", Larry Millson's "Delgado changes boos to cheers", Richard Griffin's "Delgado redeems self with late heroics", Geoff Baker's "Carlos turns the fans around", and CP's "Delgado dusts M's in clean sweep.
- Fordin Notes on the tear Alex Rios has been on, the reemergence of Josh Phelps, and a community initiative being undertaken by the Jays organization.
- Last year this would have been a marquee matchup. Well, I guess it still is. Tonight's game features the 5-8 Bartolo Colon vs. the 7-5 Roy Halladay. It's a 7:05PM EST start at the Dome according to Spencer Fordin's game preview. How are the Cheer Clubbers going to top last night?
- In "Change of pace", Mike Rutsey examines the new changeup Jason Frasor has added to his arsenal.
Predictions: Any predictions for the series against the Angels?
