Fourteen to naught for the Jays? Every Jay with a hit? What a bizarre series!

  2. The trade deadline is coming up soon. and the Jays plans are summed up by the capable Spencer Fordin in "Blue Jays in a holding pattern". The title of the article comes from the following informative quote:

    From what I remember hearing, the Jays plans for 2005 were to have a payroll in the 48-50 million dollar range? What would it be if "the money saved in the departure of Carlos Delgado will not be rolled into salary" once you take into account all the raises the Jays have to play some of their returning players?

    Lastly, Griffin's shots at the Red Sox family for donating $200,000 for Dominican flood relief are absolutely asinine, in this roundup writer's opinion.
