As first reported by Gerry McDonald, the Jays have called up 2002 4th round pick Adam Peterson. According to the New Hampshire Fisher Cats press release, in 28.1 innings of work, Peterson has only given up 20 hits and 10 walks while striking out 38. He should be a valuable addition to the Jays bullpen.
Also, as reported first by "Curveball2" and later confirmed by Mike Green who spotted this Charleston Daily Mail story, the following players have been promoted from Charleston to Dunedin:
2003 3rd round pick: Pitcher Shaun Marcum.
2003 5th round pick: Pitcher Justin James.
2003 18th round pick: 2nd sacker Ryan Roberts.
2003 27th round pick: Pitcher Brian Reed.
UPDATE (2:50PM): Mike Green found info at the Dunedin Blue Jays website that has confirmed a lot of what we've heard lately. Namely:
1999 13th round Royals draftpick Greg Raymundo has been sent from Dunedin to the Expos organization.
2003 4th round draftpick Kurt Isenberg has been sent from Dunedin to Charleston
2003 9th round draftpick Jamie Vermilyea has been sent from Dunedin to New Hampshire
1999 free agent signing Santos Veldez has been released.
