Updates, roster shuffles and several points of interest and importance for Bauxites: read on for some Batter's Box news.
First of all, our organizational depth chart has been updated and upgraded, thanks largely to the efforts of Kent Williams and Gerry MacDonald. You'll find the most recent roster moves reflected on the chart (e.g., Francisco Rosario to New Hampshire), which will be updated fairly regularly as player movement dictates. It's not official and it's not going to be up-to-the-minute, but it's still an excellent resource for those wondering where to find a player. Thanks to Kent and Gerry!
Our minor-league roster has also been expanded and strengthened with some recent additions. Jonny German, already a full-time Roster member, has joined our regular daily minor-league update rotation, along with new Roster members Mike Green and Ryan Lehmann (Ryan01), who also will be contributing an update once a week. These folks join myself and Gerry MacDonald on the weekly updates; our rotating backup roster, whose members will post updates once a month, includes Craig Burley, John Neary and Steve Z. I don't think any Website can boast a better team of minor-league experts; to our new additions, welcome aboard!
Finally, our new Legal and Privacy Policy is in place: I'd ask everyone who visits Batter's Box to please take a few minutes now and read it. Among the highlights:
- a reminder not to post a message by impersonating a real person (discussed in more detail here);
- a strict admonition to not post spam -- we'll consider advertising requests, but we'll immediately delete unsolicited ads; and
- a general explanation of the legal rights and responsibilities of both hosts and guests at Batter's Box.
