Another ugly loss as the Jays lose 11-2 to the Orioles.

Fordin Notes - Is Batista using too many pitches?

Josh Towers gets his first start of the season today against his former team. He's expected to go 50-60 pitches. Get the bullpen phone ready!

Today's game - Towers faces Ainsworth at 1:05.

A look at some stats after 10 games:

* Kevin Cash leads the team in average and slugging
* Phelps is off to a good start - .333/.395/.462
* 4 starters all have batting averages under .200 (Delgado, Woodward, Hudson, and Johnson)
* Is there a way to clone Halladay? Batista, Lilly and Hentgen have combined for an ERA close to 7.50 so far
* On the other hand, the offseason bullpen acquisitions have been pretty good, with the exception of Lopez.

At some point the team will start hitting, and at some point the starters will come around. A hot streak isn't far away.
