And security guards trailed us

Then your store could use some fixin'"

What a game yesterday! But couldn't the Jays save some of those runs for a game where their pitchers don't have anything? At any rate, it's great that the Jays showed the league that they're still a forced to be reckoned with. And am I the only one who has a hard time believing that they're only two games out of first?

1. Fordin Notes: Cash leads offense? Who would have guessed? I wouldn't have, for starters. Today it's Batista vs. Matt Riley and the Orioles. The game preview is at "Jays [are] ready for improved O's" in his game preview. Fordin points out that the Jays have pounded the Orioles over the past few years. It'd be a public relations disaster if the Jays finished in fourth this year, so let the pounding continue!

2. So what are the reporters saying about yesterday's game. Fordin: "Halladay overpowers Tigers: Right-hander fans five in complete-game shutout". Millson: "Toronto hits become 'contagious'". Baker: "Doc back in form as Jays rout Tigers: Halladay picks up first April victory in 13 attempts".
