Fordin Notes: Tosca put a couple of lefty hitters in the lineup last night. Didn't seem to help much, but remember the mantra of Sample Size. Here's the MLB.com wrapup of the game, along with Fordin's "Hentgen foiled in return: Delgado's three-run homer lone offensive output". Like Joe Sheehan, I picked the Tigers to finish in third in the AL Central, and so far they've exceeded my expectations.
Today Ted Lilly takes on Bronson Arroyo and the 2-1 Boston Red Sox. MLB.com's has Fordin's preview of today's matchup.
