The job is very boring, I'm an office clerk
The only thing that helps pass the time away
- Fordin Notes: Josh Towers tells us what he thinks about coming out of the bullpen. How can you not love this guy? Today it's Hentgen versus Gleeman's Twinkies.
- While the Jays lost 5-2 against the Phils yesterday, Ted Lilly looked pretty good as reported in Fordin's "Lilly making quick comeback".
- Jeff Blair of the Globe has a similar story on Ted Lilly in "Lilly works through Phillies, wrist injury".
- Allan Ryan of the Star gets his two cents in on Ted in "Jays are `encouraged' with outing from Lilly".
- As always, MLB.com has a game wrapup and box score. The Sun has the AP game report.
- The Jays manager is annoying rotogeeks everywhere as "Tosca biding his time before naming closer". My money is still on Speier.
- Richard Griffin's "Delgado braces for possible Toronto exit" is worth reading, if for no other reason than this quote by Delgado's agent David Sloane: "It's obvious that Dave Stewart and the truth are not on speaking terms." Ouch!
