If Speier gets back to his normal level of effectiveness, we have ourselves a great pen. Hope this works.
Also i am curious why this thread is titled picuture of the week , when it apears to be picture of the day?
The best rule change baseball could possibly make is to require every player to wear long socks/pants that end half way up the calf. Everything else is trivial.
It was picture of the week in the offseason, then on Opening Weekend I got so much good material that we could run a new picture every day for a while.

Without a doubt, of the blue jays last year, Speier's setup and subsequent windup (I love that leg kick) was my favourite to mimic when playing baseball with friends. Although he retains that title for the half windup, I think Chacin has stolen the best windup by a blue jay title away. I'm not convinced he is in Hideo Nomo territory (the Tony Batista of windups), or if Speier is in striking distance of Ben Weber, but they are both close.
Jay Spy needs a little of that NFH mojo (I've been grumbling Joey McLaughlin Part II to myself lately). This will restore the strength and vigour to his right arm. All will be well.
